Urqhart Castle
Urqhart Castle is situated on the shores of Loch Ness, not far from the village of Drumnadrochit.
Urqhart Castle has good access to the lochside, and so any visitors have a great vantage point to spot the famous Loch Ness monster - if it decides to make an appearance.
The castle has a visitor centre where you can learn about its many and varied roles throughout Scottish History.
