The Outer Hebrides are well known for their spectacular beaches, often completely devoid of people.

This track leads to one of those beaches.  It is on the island of South Uist.

Coming from Loch Boisdale, with Loch Druidibeg and the road signposted for Loch Sgioport on the right, turn left through the stone pillared gate that takes you up past Grogarry Lodge and Grogarry Loch.  Follow the track as far as it goes, and you will be rewarded with access to this magnificent Atlantic beach.
