Hebrides Beach
The Hebrides have many fantastic beaches - which you can often have all to yourself!
People are often surprised when they go to the outer Hebrides to find absolutely huge expanses of pristine beaches, completely devoid of any other people.
Of course, the weather in the Hebrides is often not too suitable for setting up the deckchairs and sunshades - but great for a refreshing walk.
The beach in this photograph is on South Uist, and is accessed by taking the track which runs past Grogarry Lodge.
