Bealach Na Ba
Bealach Na Ba, Applecross
Not for the faint hearted, learner drivers, or drivers unsure of their abilities.
The Bealach Na Ba road, on the Applecross peninsula in the North West of Scotland is notorious for its steep climb and hairpin bends - similar to what you might experience in the Alps.
It is single track with passing places, and there is an alternative route signposted for the less confident drivers, motorhomes etc.
It is often closed in the winter.
