Scottish Autumn Colours
A fine display of Scottish Autumn Colours on the river bank.
This was taken by the river Almond at Almondbank in Perthshire.
There is a beautiful display of colour all over Scotland in the autumn.
Perthshire has some particularly impressive woodland walks which show off the autumn colours to their best..
In particular I recommend a walk in the Hermitage - follow the link for more info.
Also in Perthshire, a walk along the Tay at Kenmore is very beautiful.
The West coast also has a fine autumnal display.
I usually manage to arrange a last pike fishing trip of the season to coincide with the best of the autumn colours.
This picture was taken whilst pike fishing at Loch Ederline in Argyll.
