Welcome to Pictures of Scotland, a website dedicated to showing off the scenic beauty of Scotland through images, photographs and articles.
After many years running my own business, I sold it in 2017 and wasted no time at all in donning my climbing boots and heading for the hills with my camera.
Before long, I had accumulated so many photos of Scottish scenery and wildlife that I started picturesofscotland.co.uk to share the images.
Of course, in these strange times, my wanderings have suddenly been confined to Edinburgh and it’s surroundings.
Luckily, there is plenty going on here – both in terms of scenery and wildlife.
But really looking forward to getting out on the hills again!
