Edinburgh is an attractive city at the best of times, but Edinburgh in the snow is just that bit more picturesque.
Edinburgh's main shopping street, Princes street has to have one of the best aspects in the world. On one side are the shops, and on the other side you have Princes street gardens, overshadowed at one end by the castle perched atop the crags, and at the other end , the mound and the South bridge.
