Newhaven Habour
Newhaven Harbour is a popular spot in Edinburgh for photographers wanting to get a nice sunset picture.
It is also a nice location to sit and have a meal in the summer time in one of the harbour restaurants - with fine views over the Forth to Fife.
These days, Newhaven is also used to disembark tourists from some of the many cruise ships that visit Edinburgh during the summer.
Some of the cruise ships are too large to enter the nearby Leith docks, so they anchor in the Forth, and passengers are transported by small boats to Newhaven harbour.
When one of these ships is visiting, there are parking restrictions in place to allow for tour buses, taxis etc.
