Buchanty Spout is well known as the place to photograph leaping salmon.
Prolific runs of fish in the autumn make it a great place to watch the fish jumping, and the narrowness of the falls makes the tricky job of photographing the fish as they leap, a little bit easier.
In fact almost anytime you watch salmon jumping on a UK wildlife program, there is a good chance it was filmed here.
